PAULA WILLIAMS has enjoyed making life less “taxing” for clients for more than 20 years. She is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and principal at NumberCrunchers. Paula relies on her experience, expertise and tax knowledge to solve simple and complex tax issues for numerous businesses and individuals in Southern, California.

As an EA, Paula completes, on average, 70 hours per year of continuing education, which is almost three times the federal government’s education requirement. And, as an Enrolled Agent, she serves as an advocate for clients before all administrative levels of the I.R.S. When she is not rescuing taxpayers from the I.R.S., Paula leads seminars on individual and small business taxation, record-keeping and QuickBooks®. She has been in accounting and accounting management for nearly thirty years and is currently pursuing a Masters in Taxation.

DERALYN “DEE” BOYD has served as firm administrator for NumberCrunchers for the last 10 years. As administrator, Dee oversees the day to day operations for the firm. Her organizational skills come in quite handy as she juggles an array of duties ranging from greeting clients and scheduling appointments to bookkeeping and tax preparation. Dee is also a public notary.

Prior to joining NumberCrunchers, Dee spent nearly 25 years working for companies such as Pacific Bell and Reynolds Metals. She was officially retired prior to joining NumberCrunchers, but decided to come out of retirement when she was made an offer she could not refuse. Dee loves every client and enjoys getting to know and “mothering” them and their families.

DONALD ADLER has provided financial advice and planning to individuals, corporations and closely held businesses in Southern California for over 15 years. He specializes in helping individuals, their families and businesses develop successful strategies for managing their financial affairs.

He serves as a financial mediator and advisor on financial issues relating to family law matters. Don is well known for working with couples and for the series of workshops he created, entitled “Resolving Marital Money Conflicts” and “Avoiding Money Conflicts; a Financial Guide to Blended Families.” He has published several articles and presents courses and lectures on the basics of investing, prudent money management and making informed financial decisions.

Don has taught for California State University, Northridge; California Lutheran University and the College for Financial Planning. He has served on the advisory board for the Arthritis Foundation, Ventura County Branch and the executive board of the International Association for Financial Planning, Ventura County Chapter. He has been a guest speaker and panel member for numerous professional organizations, government entities and corporate groups, such as – Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, Dole Foods, various Chamber of Commerce groups, Rotary and Optimist Clubs, and Accountants, Inc.

Don holds a Certificate in Taxation and Financial Planning from the University of Southern California and the College for Financial Planning. He is also a CTEC (California Tax Education Council) Registered Tax Preparer and a Certified QuickBooks® Professional Advisor.
